Santiago In General.
Chile is one of the thinnest country in the world if you
compare its length with its width. Chile's
European heritage is evident throughout the country and travellers
here are likely to feel more familiar with its culture than those of
the nearby
countries.
Santiago is the capital and
biggest city of Chile,
is the fifth largest city in
South America with over
5,000,000 people.
Santiago is also the central point of
a region filled with attractive sites and activities. The best time
to travel to Santiago is during spring or autumn, when the weather
is pleasant.
Incas once ruled here, the spanish
arrived in 1536 and it remained a colony till 1810.
Unfortunately in Chile is a lot of political problems like almost
every country in south America.

Mediterranean culture is more obvious then any other place in south
America.

music clubs that offer robust nightlife scenes throughout Santiago.
The night begins after midnight and ends the following morning.
Most of Santiago's popular after-hour venues are located outside the
downtown area, but a great place to start your evening is
in downtown,

de Armas,
all
Santiago spends some time here.
In
Plaza
de Armas you will find some good
restaurants,
a lot of
outdoor cafes
and
the place is full of street
painters and musicians who perform all sorts of concerts on the stage.
Three
districts in Santiago are popular for spending a night on the town:
Barrio Bellavista, Calle Suecia and Plaza Nunoa.
The
Bario Bellavista nightlife district is
regarded as the city's artistic quarter and is home to many of the most
buzzing bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
The bars are generally inexpensive, with the beer often costing less than
water.
Bellavista, has
also strong alternative-rock venues and a gay
scene.
Providencia's
Calle Suecia is a popular spot for foreigners, so
you will find a lot of girls from different countries.
Plaza Nunoa has
also a big number of
bars, pubs and nightclubs.

Louisina, Brannigans,
Blondie Discotheque, Boomerang,
Casa en el Aire, Club La Feria,
El Diablito and Havana Salsa.
