Bodrum nightlife: Once known as Halicarnassus. Bodrum is the South Aegean’s most attractive resort. It is famous both among Turkish and foreign travelers. The town of Bodrum enchants visitors with its white houses, blue window frames and a pretty harbour. Is located at the southern edge of the Bodrum Peninsula, across from the Greek island of Kos. Bodrum has some of Turkey’s best restaurants and a lively nightlife. Probably has more bars per area than any other place in Turkey. Turks rank Bodrum as second place about nightlife and bars after Istanbul. This place in my opinion is worth more than any other places in Turkey for having good time. Most of the action takes place on the mile-long Cumhuriyet Bar Street. When you are on Cumhuriyet Bar Street try out some of the local culture by ordering a Turkish Raki drink or eat the delicious turkish kebab.
I was there during a Harley Davidson trip, I Stayed 3 nights and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bars and clubs. The night is beautiful in Bodrum and when the sun goes down the lights from the white house’s are open to complete the magic. The bars and clubs is pact with sexy foreign and Turkish girls. I meet Esma in a restaurant. She was worked as a waitress there and she was finishing work around 12.00 at night. Later she was my guide to the in-famous Bodrum Bar Street. Bodrum has some amazing choice for night life and musical events. During the summer, you could to listen to most famous singers of Turkey who often give concerts at the Bodrum Castle.
