I actually Mix the same time I make this post. As the Club that I’m working is not so Busy at the moment because is early. Yes Nighthawk also works as a Dj, part time job. Im not the greatest Dj in the world but I can post some of the basics Dj ruls for new Djs. Some Djs prefer the old fashion way of vinyl some like CDs and finally some like the modern way of laptops with software’s like Virtual Dj or Dj Tractor Studio, I use to like Cds but now I play with Laptop as I dont wont to care CDs anymore. Is many things that a good DJ have to know, but deepens also where is working. Let’s start with new guys that start now to the Djs world. If you are not making your own music production and you just working in a bar or club then you need to know some basics for make your costumers happy.

How To Be Dj - Dj Tips: 1) Even if your play to a bar or club that have only one style of music, Trance, Rock, Pop, RNB, Latin or whatever the first thing you will need is some classic and the newest  tracks for every of that styles that you mix. 2) Try to play for people and not what you like an till you get them drunk, and then you can give them your own music messages. 3 ) Try to understand what a costumer like before ask you. Some old good Djs have the experience to know what people like to listen only from the souse that a costumer wearing. 4) Remember all depends of the day, some days people are in mood for party and some others days want to chill. 5 ) Also depends what the bar-club you working have more, males or females. Actually the best that a Dj can do, is to keep the girls inside the bar, otherwise the boys run away too. The most easy and difficult is when you work in a bar that plays almost everything. Easy because you have more styles of music to play but in the other hand you have people with all kind of music tastes.
