Wan Chai is the most famous place that really springs to life after dark. The area has had a reputation for naughtiness since the 1940s and was famous for its girlie bars and saunas. Wan Chai nightlife is home also to several British-style pubs and some Go Go bars with Thai and Filipino girls dance on small stages and flirt with the male customers.
