Xin Tian Di: is a neighborhood of old Shikumen (a type of tenement found only in Shanghai) has been saved by a restoration that turned the old stone buildings into boutiques, clubs and restaurants. Xin Tian Di will be your closest match to what Lan Kwai Fong is to Hong Kong. For me is one of the best places to hang out.
Hengshan Road: This place is better for those people who prefer reminiscence, Shanghai’s first bars were opened in Hengshan Road, and they remain more popular than those elsewhere.
Maoming South Road: is an upwardly mobile bar street, Maoming South Road is filled with young tourists that looking for good time. Famous bars like Judystoo are still popular to many visitors.
Shanghai girls: Shanghai is pretty much the same as Beijing. Discos are the best places to find girls. First you need to decide if you want a girlfriend or if you don’t have the time, If you want to find a girlfriend then just go out on the town. I got the Feeling, XinTianDi is more and more filled up by tourists. Not only western Tourists, also chinese Traveller never miss to visit that place. So no the Prices for Drinks and Food rised up in a way last year, that I prefer to visit other places. Taikang Road, not far away from XinTianDi can be a good Place for a Drink now.
